Wavefront Consulting specialise in the development of RF and microwave electronics, in particular microwave power amplifiers. The company has expertise into mm wave circuit design, including the necessary system control components required of standalone systems. We have extensive Computer Aided Design capabilities and a history of power device modelling and high efficiency power amplifier development.

Following employment as a Graduate Engineer at a contract Research and Development company, the company founder received the PhD degree from The University of Manchester in 2005. He has since been highly active in the design of microwave power amplifiers and associated systems. The company has a combined 50 years experience in various branches of microwave electronics, including the medical and defence sectors.

We are currently working with external parties in the design of high power amplifiers that exploit the latest GaN device technology. Many application areas exist for the systems we develop, including high efficiency communications and medical systems.
